Donate Life Flag Raising

April 22, 2026

Dozens of hospitals throughout Wisconsin are hosting Donate Life flag-raising ceremonies for April, National Donate Life Month. Join us to promote awareness of organ, tissue and eye donation — and the importance for individuals to register their decision.

This event is open to members of the community and HSHS colleagues and medical staff whose lives have been impacted by organ donation, as well as anyone who wishes to show their support or learn more about the importance of organ donation:

The evening begins at the main entrance flagpole, hosted by HSHS Pastoral Care. Following the flag raising, we will move into the Atrium for a presentation by Jim Brien – a prominent kidney transplant recipient, advocate, athlete and co-chairman of the membership committee for Team Wisconsin at the Donate Life Transplant Games of America. He has represented the U.S. in numerous Summer and Winter World Transplant Games.

After the program, attendees are invited to stay and connect with others during a time of socialization.

Note: Event location/times posted reflect information provided by representatives or member organizations. Times/dates are subject to change based on local conditions or schedule conflicts.

If you attend and post pictures on your social media, please tag #donatelifewisconsin and Donate Life Wisconsin will share on Facebook.
